After the Storm Comes Through
Wind comes through Dubois County and a limb ends up in your living room. Tree on the house, driveway blocked, trunk across the fence — that’s not a job for a chainsaw and a ladder. We’re always open, so call when it happens, not in the morning.
A storm-damaged tree is under load. Cut it wrong and it springs, drops, or takes more of the roof with it. We come out, read the tension, and pick the pieces off with a knuckleboom grapple crane instead of dropping them.

Call Us
Tell us what’s down and where. If it’s on a structure or over a line, say so — that changes what we roll out and how fast.
We Size It Up
First thing on site, we look at what’s holding weight and what’s about to move. Nobody cuts until we know where the load is going.
Lift, Don't Drop
The grapple crane takes the trunk straight up and off the roof. Bucket trucks get us up to the limbs without anyone setting foot on a damaged roof.
Clear the Yard
Brush goes through the chipper, wood and debris into the dump trucks. We haul it out and leave you a yard you can walk, so the repairs can start.
What to Do While You Wait
While you’re waiting on us, the main thing is distance. A tree that’s already down can still shift, and a limb caught up in another tree can come loose with no warning at all. Get everyone out from under it and keep them out.
Photos matter more than people think. Once the cutting starts the scene changes fast, so pictures you take from the ground beforehand are worth having when you call your insurance company.
- Stay away from any line the tree is touching — assume it's live and call the power company.
- Get out from under a leaning tree or a hung-up limb, and keep kids and pets well clear.
- Don't climb up on a damaged roof to look at it.
- Photograph the damage from a safe distance, before anything gets moved.
- Leave the car where it is if reaching it means walking under the tree.

That’s why we lift when we can instead of cutting and dropping. A knuckleboom grapple crane picks the trunk up off the roofline and swings it clear, so the weight comes off in one controlled move instead of in pieces landing on what’s left.
We can’t file a claim or tell you what your policy covers — that’s between you and your carrier. Call them early, and take your own photos from the ground before we start cutting, while the damage still looks the way it did.
The utility first. Lines are their call, not ours, and nobody should be near that tree until they’ve cleared it. Once the line is dealt with, call us for the tree itself — trunk, limbs, and whatever’s still hanging.
