One machine, one pass
Clearing brush the old way means cutting it, dragging it into a pile, and then figuring out what to do with the pile. Forestry mulching skips all of that. The mulching head grinds standing brush, briars, and saplings right where they are and leaves the material on the ground as a layer of chip.
That layer is not waste. It holds the soil in place on a slope, keeps the mud down, and breaks back into the ground over a season or two. Nothing to haul, nothing to burn, and no brush pile sitting in the corner of the property until spring.

What to Expect
Walk the ground
We come out and look at what you have — how thick it is, how big the stems run, where your lines are, and what you want left standing.
Mark what stays
Good trees, tile, fence posts, survey pins. Anything that needs to survive the day gets flagged before the machine starts.
Mulch it down
The mulcher works through the block and grinds the brush where it stands. You get a surprising amount of ground back in a day.
Walk it again
We go back over it with you, take down anything still standing that you wanted gone, and leave you with ground you can actually use.

Not every tree that comes down gets chipped. The good, solid wood off our removals comes back to the yard, and we sell it as firewood to folks around Jasper.

Brush, briars, and saplings are no trouble at all, and it will take small trees. Once stems get past what the head can chew, it is faster to bring the excavator in or drop them first. We will tell you which way is cheaper when we look at it.
It knocks it down and buys you time, but the roots are still in the ground and some species come back. Keep it mowed or brush-hogged after and it stays open. If you want it gone at the root, that is grubbing with the excavator — a different job and a different price.
Yes. The tracked machine gets into spots a dozer cannot and it is easier on the ground. Mark your lines, tile, and pins and we will work around them.
We sell it when we have it, and that depends on what we have been taking down. Call and ask — if the yard is short, we usually know when the next load is coming in.
