Land & Lot Clearing

From a grown-up fence row to a full building lot, we clear the brush, the saplings, and the junk trees — and clean up behind us before we leave.

Take Your Ground Back

Land gets away from you fast around here. A fence row you could walk not long ago is now a wall of honeysuckle and volunteer maple. A back field turns into scrub. We come in with a forestry mulcher and grind that growth into chip right where it stands — no burn pile, no windrows of brush sitting there all summer.

For the heavier work we bring the excavator and skid steers. Bigger trees come down first with a grapple crane or a boom truck, then we clear the understory and clean up behind ourselves. You tell us where the line is and what stays — a shade tree, a walnut, the tree line along the road — and we work around it.

How it goes

What to Expect

Walk the ground

We come out and walk it with you. What’s coming out, what’s staying, where your property lines run, what has to get located before anybody digs. Free estimate, no obligation.

Drop the big stuff

Anything too big for the mulcher comes down first. Grapple cranes and bucket trucks for the tall ones close to buildings, then we work the trunks and limbs down to what the chipper can take.

Mulch and grub

The mulcher grinds brush and saplings flat and leaves the chip behind as cover. Where you need bare dirt — a building pad, a new drive — the excavator and skid steers pull stumps and roots out.

Clean and haul

Dump trucks take off whatever can’t stay. We smooth out the ruts, spread the chip or load it out, and leave the ground ready for whatever you’re doing next.

Who Calls Us for Clearing

Clearing isn’t one job — it’s a dozen different ones depending on what you want the ground to do afterward. A pasture doesn’t need the same finish as a building pad, so we don’t cut it the same way.

So tell us what the land is for when you call. Pasture, a house, a shooting lane, or just a fence row you can finally see over — it changes how we cut it and how clean we leave it.

Questions

Common Questions

Mulching grinds standing brush and small trees into chip on the spot and leaves it as ground cover — no piles, no burning, no hauling. Traditional clearing pushes the material out with an excavator and takes it off site. Mulching is faster on brush; grubbing is what you want when you need bare dirt.

Depends on what you’re doing with the ground. The mulcher takes small stumps down flush, and the excavator pulls the big ones out root ball and all when you’re prepping a building pad. If you only want them ground below grade so you can mow, that’s stump grinding — we do that too.

We’re set up for both ends of it. A skid steer and the mulcher handle a fence row or a half acre of brush. A full lot with mature timber gets the excavator, boom trucks, grapple cranes, and dump trucks, and the lowboy hauls the heavy iron in wherever it needs to go.

Small material goes through the chipper or the mulcher and stays on site as cover, unless you’d rather we take it. Trunks, big limbs, and anything that won’t chip get loaded into the dump trucks and leave with us. We don’t leave a burn pile behind unless you ask for one.
